She gave Switzerland her last victory in Eurovision and is now one of the biggest pop superstars of all: Celine Dion. After three five, the singer is returning to the Hallenstadion Zurich.
Hardly any pop musician is more successful than the French-Canadian singer Celine Dion. Now the superstar is coming to Zurich's Hallenstadion for two shows on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 and Thursday, March 14, 2024 as part of her Courage World Tour.
In her luggage, the musician has her new album "Courage", which will be released on November 15, 2019. It is the first English-language album by Celine Dion in six years. Three songs of this al-bum Celine Dion has already released. The music goes in a new direction, the melodies flirt with electro elements and urban mainstream pop, but still keep Celine's 90s origins in mind. She will present these new songs live in Switzerland for the first time when she performs in Zurich in June 2020. But her set will of course also include her big hits from a good 30 years of international career.
The singer has a special relationship with Switzerland, having won the Eurovision Song Contest in its name in 1988 with the song "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi," which drew the attention of a broad European audience for the first time. A few more years passed before her big international breakthrough. The turning point came in 1991 with "Beauty And The Beast", a duet with Peabo Bryson to the Disney film of the same name. The song became a worldwide top ten hit and brought Celine Dion her first Grammy. Since her album "The Color Of My Love", 1993, Celine Dion has been a regular guest in the top ten of the Swiss album charts. Every subsequent studio album made it to at least number six - and that's 18 different albums, after all. In addition, there are countless top ten singles, led by their super hit "My Heart Will Go On".
For the past 17 years, the singer has been regularly celebrating big shows in Las Vegas. Now she brings this perfection to the stages of the world. She presents a stage set and choreography that you hardly ever see at pop concerts. Celine Dion live is not only music, but a happening for all senses.
