On 03 December 2024 at the Hallenstadion in Zurich. Tickets are available via ticketcorner.ch.

Riverdance celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, earning standing ovations and - once again! - the hearts of the audience by storm. To date, the successful ensemble has enchanted over 30 million people around the world with its brilliant show. The international career of this unique formation from Ireland began a quarter of a century ago and since then they have been setting global standards for unrivalled tap dance. The legendary Irish dance show is coming live to Switzerland in November and December 2024. Riverdance fans can look forward to pure tap dancing passion: In addition to the masterful skills of the dancers, whose rapid steps are so fast that the naked eye cannot follow them, the show impresses with spectacular lighting technology, LED walls, a fantastic stage and costume design and last but not least: first-class live music.

The show tells the moving story of the multi-faceted fate of the Irish people: of emigration, farewell, departure and homecoming. Riverdance also shows the interplay and clash of different cultures. The dancers present a spectacular performance of Irish passion and international dance styles such as flamenco, breakdance and Russian folklore with consummate body control and at breakneck speed. The live traditional music, for whose composition by Bill Whelan Riverdance even received a Grammy in 1997, is characterised by depth, longing, but also hope and confidence. The original soundtrack was rearranged by Bill Whelan for the 25th anniversary and the well-known, mesmerising Riverdance music was brought into the present day. The dancers bring the history and culture of Ireland to life with synchronised dance perfection and gorgeous costumes!
