The Limmatschwimmen is one of the most spectacular summer events in Zurich. Once a year, the Limmat is transformed into a gigantic swimming route where thousands of participants float through the crystal-clear water. The approximately 1.8-kilometre course leads right through the heart of Zurich - with magnificent views of the historic old town and the vibrant city life.
