The power of the Limmat, which shapes our city of Zurich and its visitors as its lifeline, joins forces with the Sihl at the Unterer Letten river bathing area for a final act. This almost untouched spot is a hidden gem of Zurich. It is home to a wide variety of animal species and has been affectionately known as our “Badi” by many generations of people – a place where we recharge our batteries in summer. Whether during the day with a refreshing swim followed by sunbathing, or in July during the Zurich Film Nights, when the Filmfluss presents selected film gems in the river cinema and the Limmat becomes a stage for stories. A state of lasting bliss in which thoughts seem to be wiped away. During these summer weeks, we surf on a wave of happiness we have created ourselves, bringing things into balance. In this way, our inner door opener leaves delicate traces of memories – traces that lead us back again and again to the magic of the Limmat's power and these special micro-moments.
